This blog will be used during the EEL503 course on Introduction to Modeling and Analysis of Dynamic Systems, taught by Prof. Dr. Antonio Carlos Zambroni de Souza for the Electrical Engineering Undergraduate Program at the Federal University of Itajubá, Brazil. Its objective is to make available to students and other interested parties the work course syllabus and current project interventions, reading tips, and other complementary texts.
This page is the result of a very interesting work in progress. Divided into groups of three to five people, students should analyze the use of system dynamics in modeling a plethora of engineering, economics, environmental, and social problems.
We are quick to say that the idea is by no means to think that mathematics is sufficient to solve all real-world problems. On the contrary, the idea is to show them that the training acquired can be useful if used in different areas of expertise.
In the end, it is expected that they'll have a broader education, in addition to the awakening of empathy, which is always necessary to build a better world. We ask you to visit the students' blogs and learn about their works. Criticize and give your opinion, as it is part of their evaluation.
Enjoy!
